Granger & Co, Notting Hill

Granger & Co. always tops lists of best brunches in London, so I was really excited to finally get down to Notting Hill last weekend to try it for myself.

Courgette Fritters, Fried Halloumi, Siyez & Shredded Kale Salad, Granger & Co, Notting HillCourgette Fritters, Fried Halloumi, Siyez & Shredded Kale Salad, Granger & Co, Notting HillI went for a big plate – courgette fritters which were served with fried halloumi, tzatziki a deep-fried and and a fresh green salad.

It was really delicious – the courgette fritters were crisp, flavourful, and light – and the combination of fried halloumi, salad and tzatziki was absolutely heavenly.

The food was definitely worth the long wait – all the vegetables and ingredients were really fresh, and the combination of flavours and textures was really fantastic.

Granger & Co. also has a really nice atmosphere – the room is lovely and bright, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The long wait is a real drawback, meaning it’s not particularly a practical place to pop in for brunch, but it’s ideal for a lazy Sunday, or any day when you’re not completely rushed off of your feet!

Hot Chocolate, Granger & Co, Notting HillAfter our massive meal my lunch date tried one of their hot chocolates, which looked rather Dalmatian-like!

Despite the big queues, I would really recommend Granger & Co. for brunch – and it’s always so lovely to have a browse around Notting Hill!
